Anu Nhaara

I am a 32 year old adult and I like to know that I a writing with other adults. While this character may be fairly lighthearted, that does not mean that RP with her won't occasionally stray into darker topics. I take all of the content, regardless of intensity or theme, seriously.That all said, Darker themes are of course okay as long as you fit the above mentioned requirement. It should go without saying that I am not Anu and none of her views or opinions reflect my own. Anu may even be in a romance with your character but I am not romancing you. We can be friends, do content together, and generally have a chill time! Just don't forget that at the end of the day we're writing a story together and as the author I don't share Anu's feelings or thoughts 1:1.And while we're here, absolutely NO bigots, transphobes, homophobes, or the like. ▍ ❝   Lore Bending, Not Breaking.
In a world like what Square Enix has created for us, there's always some sort of wiggle room. I'm more than okay with characters that sit at the blurry boundaries or don't have a ton of direct lore support. If it sounds plausible and in step with the setting, I'm in!I am however not looking for power fantasy/ WoL types. At the end of the day I like my RP to feel grounded. FFXIV is full of fantastical things but I just don't want to feel like I am writing against the embodiment of a godly being.▍ ❝   Communication.
Communication is vitally important when you're collaborating on something with someone. As Roleplayers we're absolutely collaborating on a story. ▍ ❝The Shroud
Like most Keepers who have lived or do live a traditional life, Anu hails form the Shroud. Her people specifically hail from the region that borders Coerthas and make their home in the foothills there.If your character is from the Shroud or has passed through that region on their way into the Shroud then perhaps they may be familiar with the Nhaara or Anu herself. ▍ ❝The Nhaara
Her clan is a fairly industrious one who trade with both the people of Coerthas and Gridania. Primarily they tend to trade in dyes, perfumes, and a well-loved black mead that they have been making for generations.It is entirely likely that your character could know of the Nhaara through these goods or know someone who knows the Nhaara. Feel free to DM me about such things!

▍ ❝An Turas
The daughters of the Nhaara are all expected to undertake a journey referred to as 'An Turas'. It is something of a pilgrimage. A spiritual journey meant to develop one's character and let them be exposed to the wider world in a safe way.The main expectation of this journey is that when a daughter returns, if a daughter returns, that she brings back something of use. Wisdom, knowledge, technology, and magic are all valid answers to this.Anu is currently on her own An Turas

▍ ❝Feathered Friends
To say that Anu has a love of chocobo is something of an understatement. Her Clan depends on them for most day-to-day affairs. As such Anu has grown up with the birds and holds a great fondness for them in her heart. Around her neck is a necklace made of old leather chord with a single well-preserved yellow pinion serving as a pendant.Mention of chocobo or inquiring about the woman's necklace are a surefire way to draw her into conversation.

▍ ❝Mender
Anu is a conjurer of respectable skill and while she may be no adventurer, is more than willing to lend her expertise as a healer to those in need.Feel free to DM me about setting up any scenes revolving around this. It bears mention that Anu is not much of a combatant and while her player is quite fine with the poor girl getting in over her head, Anu may very well protest greatly if put in a situation where she must play a role on any sort of battlefield.

▍ ❝Anxiety
Simply put, Anu is a very anxious woman. The pilgrimage she's been sent on and her progress has been slow thanks to this. It isn't uncommon to find her in a quiet place with ears pinned and her fangs sunk deep into into her lower lip.She does her best to work around this shortcoming, though progress is slow. If you see her in such a state feel more than free to know that it is normal for her and that you have blanket permission to try and help her.
